What's up with the name?!

 grom (grommet) noun

- a young surfer/skater/snowboarder.

       Born in a little place called Simcoe, Ontario in May 2009 Groms is the "kid brother" of Harry's.  It's a store for the next generation of shredders, sk8ers, taste-makers and all round cool kids.  Groms is a local board shop bringing the surf skate snow culture to kids.  It's a specialty store built & run by folks who think kids are the coolest.

     Our Mission is to provide the best in products, shopping experience and value.  Outstanding service is our top priority.  As is supporting local community initiatives geared toward youth.  Our goal is to positively impact kids everyday and celebrate and encourage them.  We strive to be ecologically and socially responsible and to be an ambassador for youth in action sports worldwide.

At Groms we're part of a revolution called the youth movement.
